Colnago was the first bicycle manufacturer to believe in the applied technology of disc brakes on road bikes. This allows especially to improve the safety of the cyclist and reduce maintenance interventions benefiting , always the top performance . Cx Zero disc has the rear triangle redesigned and reinforced to accommodate the brake caliper. The fork is completely new, structured to respond to the stress-sided disc during braking , providing stability and absence of vibrations.
The Colnago CX Zero personifies everything Colnago has learned from building the best bikes on the planet for the last 60 years. It is the bike for every rider looking for the best overall value and experience from a road bike. The CX Zero, with its stylish design, features a full carbon fibre frame and fork and features Shimano's outstanding, and new for 2014, Ultegra 11 speed groupset.
The CX Zero combines CLASSIC frame geometry for all-day and every-day riding with the most advanced materials and frame design of any bike on the market today. If you look at road race bikes from the days of quill stems, or as recent as a decade ago, you do not see the dramatic drop from the saddle to the bars. This CLASSIC geometry allowed riders of the pro peloton to maximise their efforts day-in and day-out for an entire season over varied terrain and varied road conditions. Colnago was able to optimise ride quality on the CX Zero while still offering best-ever lateral frame rigidity together with perfectly balanced performance.

The endurance geometry arises from the extent of the steering tube, which is considerably longer than the classical racing.
Through this part of the frame pass the large part of the forces generated by the cyclist pedaling. Therefore, it should be very durable.
With their form characterized by a prominent fold in the vicinity of the dropouts, the chain stays wagon behave like real shock when subjected to impact the vertical from the road surface.
This part of the rear plays a key role in the comfort of your bicycle. The seat stays join the dropouts to the seat tube, therefore directly transmit the blows received from the wheel to the rider.
Welcome to a new era of high performance road bike braking, the Colnago Disc.
