I bought this bike brand new thinking I would travel more to ride it, but having a DH bike isn't worth it unless you're willing to drive a lot. Let my loss be your gain! over 6k invested.
Vivid air rear shock, recently rebuilt by rockshox
Boxxer World cup, recently rebuilt by rockshox (Hasn't even been ridden since the suspension rebuild, besides in my driveway)
Answer adjustable direct mount stem, 45, 50, 55 mm
Answer lock on grips with hardly any wear
Easton Havoc DH wheelset, really beefy and stiff. Stickers removed for a murdered out look
Truvativ descendant crank set
XO trail brakes, new (warrantied since I've ridden them)
Cane Creek adjustable angle headset
maxxis minion dhf up front, dhr rear, 3c
comes with an extra set of high rollers in 2.7 inches.
what's funny is they measure only .25 inches smaller than my friends 27.5 vten tires. Marketing hype!
I like this vten better, since it is truly 10 inches of travel adjustable down to 8.5. And with the air shock, you just change air pressure instead of changing springs between the travel modes. Ten inches is bottomless, it's ridiculous. If you don't need speed to pedal and you're only going downhill, I prefer the ten inch mode. It saves you every time. The only time I liked the 8.5 is on jump trails in bike parks.
