The Early Rider Road runner 14" is a drop bar runner bike, this could be the first steps to a potential road bike champion. A light weight alloy frame, pneumatic tires and drop bars make this an awesome little road runner.
First step to a racing career
Not many balance bikes could carry off drop bars but with its diamond frame the Road Runner 14 does brilliantly. I just don't know why we didn't think of this before. We all know the sense of control and stability when you're on the drops - the lower center of gravity is a great confidence boost. The inclined position helps the rider too, allowing them to more freely push off and drive the balance bike.
With its spec of low resistance cartridge bearings and integrated headset, this is surely the first step to a racing career...
About Balance Bikes - 1-5 yrs
Balance Bikes are kids bikes without pedals. They are an ideal way for young children to learn to ride, learing to balance and control the bike before progressing to pedals, without ever needing stabilizers. They are perfect if you have some gentle apartment and downhill stretches to help them enjoy coasting along. Young children often find hand brakes difficult to use, and are better at stopping with their feet, so set the saddle to a comfortable height to allow them to put both feet down. As they are very simple these bikes are supplied in retail boxes, normally with a small amount of self-assembly required.
About the Early Rider brand
Early rider are a premium kids bike company designed and manufactured in the UK. Their products cover 6 months to 6 years, and just like their customers they love to get out there and just do it (whatever 'it' may be). So they build bikes that enable children to do exactly that. Get stuck in. Whether you're cruising around town or zooming through the woods, their bikes are only limited by your child's imagination!
