Merida Scultura 400 Aluminium 2017 Bicycle Black / Red. Road bicycle with aluminium frame, carbon fork and equipped with Shimano components.
Technical features:
- PROLITE ALUMINIUM: Merida's best aluminium alloy made from extremely resistant 6066 aluminium and triple internal layer.
- HYDROFORMING SYSTEM: The tubes are formed via a delicate hydraulic process. Three tubes dimensionally formed in Prolite 66 aluminium alloy.
- SMOOTH: Smooth welding points using a specific welding technique. Improved exterior without compromising the stiffness of the structure or the welding point.
- X-TAPER: Externally butted headtube with a large 1.5" steering bearing at the bottom and accompanying the shape of the fork. To improve precision, resistance and stiffness between the frame and the fork.
- CARBON FORK: Front carbon fork made with carbon inserts. In some models the fork is made of 100% carbon composites.
- INTERNAL CABLE: The brake and/or shifter cables are guided through the inside of the frame. Improves the design and aesthetics as the cables are hidden from view, with no disadvantages.
