The Power Modulator allows easier modulation of braking power. This is possible within a constant brake power threshold by the extension of the brake cable way on the brake lever. If the effective working area of the Power Modulator is exceeded the brake lever and the brake perform again in the normal way like a direct cable routed brake. In this case the brake action can be higher than expected and the wheel can be blocking. You should learn the function of the Power Modulator under save conditions. The Power Modulator does not have a ABS-function, wich would prevent the blocking of wheels.
